Rossbeigh Beach riding Centre is located on the world-renowned Ring of Kerry and has established a reputation in recent years as “a trekker’s paradise”.

From Kerry Airport – 36 Kilometres

Turn left out of the airport on the N23 (remembering to drive on the left side of the road!) and turn left again at the T-junction beside Ulick’s Pub and the railway station onto the N22. Proceed into Farranfore Village (about 250m) & turn right onto the R561 towards Castlemaine, Milltown & Killorglin.

When you reach Castlemaine (home of The Wild Colonial Boy), the R561* now joins the N70 (from Tralee) and then, leaving Castlemaine on your right, just follow the signs for Milltown, where you do a quick left/right & then on to Killorglin.

Cross the River Laune bridge and up the hill staying to the right of the island (this is the site of the platform for King Puck at Puck Fair, Aug 10-12). Take the 1st road off the roundabout and head straight out the N70 to Glenbeigh Village, you are now on The Ring of Kerry.

When you get to Glenbeigh go through the village, down the hill and straight on across the Behy Bridge towards Rossbeigh Beach. You will find us on the right just a few hundred metres from the bridge. Welcome to our part of the world!

From Shannon Airport – 154 Kilometres

Take the N19 (E20) out of the airport (left at the 1st roundabout straight on at the 2nd & the 3rd roundabouts), proceed for about 6km to the N18 junction.

Turn right on to the N18 and follow the signs for Limerick, you will encounter a toll booth so have some change ready and pass through the tunnel under the River Shannon.

Drive 20km from the airport & Exit at junction 1 and go right towards Tralee on the M20 & N21. Follow the N21 through Adare, Newcastle West & Abbeyfeale to Castleisland where you will bypass the town and join the N23 to Farranfore & Kerry Airport.

From Tralee – 39 Kilometres

Take the N70 Castlemaine, Milltown & Killorglin Road out of Tralee and follow it to Castlemaine* then just follow the signs for Milltown, where you do a quick left/right & then on to Killorglin.

*At this point the R561 heads out to Dingle, worth remembering this junction if
you plan a day trip to see Fungi the Dolphin or Oceanworld.

From Killarney – 35 Kilometres

Take the N72  Ring of Kerry Road out of Killarney and follow it to Killorglin.

Kerry Airport is located 36 km from Glenbeigh, approximately forty minutes away by car. This is the most convenient Airport to glenbeigh, but it is very small, and flights into Kerry are limited.

Shannon Airport (SNN): Tel: +353 (0)61 712000 / +353(0)61 71 2400

Shannon Airport is located 154 km from Glenbeigh, approximately two and a half hours away by car. While further away, Shannon is a much larger Airport and flights landing here are more regular. If you are flying from anywhere other than Europe, this is where you should land.
